Nature Canada / Initiatives

Nature Canada’s initiatives span a wide range of programs to conserve wildlife and habitats and engage people in nature conservation across the country. Protecting birds and other biodiversity is at the core of what we do, so too is ensuring the land and water they inhabit is kept clean and free from unnecessary disturbance. Through our policy work, we collaborate with like-minded conservation organizations to provide recommendations to the federal government that advance environmental sustainability. We also focus on building relationships with a diverse group of people, from children to women of influence, and engaging these groups in nature conservation.
